These third parties may use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to collect information about your use of the Site and other websites over time, which they may use to provide measurement services and to serve advertisements that may be of interest to you.

We recognize that under certain state privacy laws (including the CCPA/CPRA), some forms of online advertising involving the sharing of information with third-party advertising partners may technically be considered a “sale” or “share” of personal information, even where no money changes hands, depending on how the activity is structured. To the extent our use of third-party advertising or analytics technologies described in Section 3 and Section 4 is determined to constitute a “sale” or “share” under applicable law, you have the right to opt out as described in Section 8 (Your Choices & Cookie Controls) and Section 9 (State Privacy Rights) below. Outside of that narrow regulatory context, we do not engage in the sale of personal information in the ordinary, plain-language sense of that term, and we have no plans to do so.
Aside from the advertising- and analytics-related sharing described above, we may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: We may share information with vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as web hosting, analytics, and site security, under obligations to protect that information.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of WestchesterEVCharging.com, our visitors, or others.
- Business transfers: If the Site is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
- With your consent: We may share information for any other purpose with your consent.
You have several options for managing cookies and tracking technologies:
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, including blocking all cookies, blocking third-party cookies only, or deleting cookies after each browsing session. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality and your experience of the Site and other websites.
You can opt out of certain third-party advertising and analytics cookies through industry tools, including the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out page, the Network Advertising Initiative’s opt-out page, and individual opt-out mechanisms offered by specific analytics or advertising providers.
Where technically supported and legally required, we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for visitors browsing from jurisdictions that recognize it.
Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), and similar comprehensive privacy laws in states including (but not limited to) Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others as they take effect. These rights may include:
- Right to know/access: the right to request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, and the purposes for collection.
- Right to delete: the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to correct: the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to opt out of sale/sharing: the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, to the extent applicable as described in Section 6.
- Right to non-discrimination: the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 16 (Contact Us) below. We will respond to verifiable requests within the timeframes required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in a manner inconsistent with the requirements of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information in Section 16.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Analytics and cookie-related data is generally retained for limited periods consistent with the practices of the relevant third-party providers, after which it may be deleted or anonymized.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
